Warning: Mutant Chinese Hybrid Android/Apple Smartphone on the Loose

Writers at CNET are calling it the Goophone i5, and by all accounts it is a monstrosity of a smartphone - a mutant hybrid between Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) and Google (Nasdaq: GOOG). Details on this tech-freakazoid are still a bit sketchy, but it appears to be a phone that looks exactly like the new iPhone 5 based on the specs that are currently available, with one devilish difference. It runs on Android. The knock-off is expected to be available in China before the release of the iPhone 5.
