VMware (NYSE: VMW) is 25% lower in after-hours action after the company reported disappointing Q4 results.
VMware reported Q4 EPS of $0.26, which included a 1 cent tax benefit, versus the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenues for the quarter were $412 million, versus the consensus of $417.37 million.
EMC (NYSE: EMC), which spun-off VMW and still owns a large stake, is down 11%.
