Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) presentation at the Macworld event is not being given by Steve Jobs as it has been for the last decade, but by Phil Schiller today. Apple is announcing various updates to existing software products and launching new ones as well.

Apple's Schiller just announced Apple's high-end 17" MacBook Pro. People in the crowd at Macworld were cheering this new product and self-professed geek, Chris Pirillo's jaw dropped when he saw this new computer. Pirillo said, "I may have to upgrade."
