UPDATE: Has John Paulson Joined Twitter?

John Paulson of hedge fund Paulson & Co. and famed credit crisis guru may have joined the Twitter fray.

In a tweet overnight, @PaulsonNYC said his executive staff will be tweeting soon on his behalf. The account is unverified at this point and some believe it may be an impostor.

UPDATE: The account is a fake, according to TheFirstAdopter. "I received official comment from Armel Leslie of Peppercomm, Paulson & Co's public relations firm, that the Twitter account @PaulsonNYC is "not legitimate."
