Twitter adds another quality team member to boost awareness ahead of a potential IPO.
AllThingsD reported today that Twitter, the microblogging social media juggernaut, has hired Kate Jhaveri away from Facebook (Nasdaq: FB). She will join Twitter as senior director of consumer marketing.
Jhaveri worked on marketing for Facebook's platform and credit program.
Other than Facebook, Jhaveri was also at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) for several years and at Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) for one.
