Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) is said to be testing a new ad which displays inside a user's feed.
Reports have the ad being rather large (taking up most of the screen) and acting like Tinder in that you can swipe left or right to see another ad. The background on the ad is a little dimmer and there's some light wording that helps distinguish it from user content.
The campaign appears just to be running for a small number of mobile users at the moment.
Twitter has placed ads in feeds before, but they were smaller and tended to blend in with other posts.
News comes as Twitter has previous said it planned to increase the amount of advertising in news feeds.
Shares of Twitter are down 0.6 percent.
