Twitter (TWTR) Makes First Hardward Company Investment via Venture Arm

Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) is said to have investment in connected headphone company, Muzik.
Re/code noted the investment on Monday.
While Twitter has been making investments in companies via its Twitter Venture unit, this is the first time that it has put money into a hardware company.
Muzik noted that several other companies have also made investments.
Headphones from Muzik allow users to control music and volume using virtual buttons outside the device, while there's also the ability to share music to social media networks.
Shares of Twitter are down over 3 percent at the start Monday.
