Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) is said to be upping its advertising game with ads placed right into user profiles.
Re/code said Wednesday that Twitter is testing the initiative and there's no guarantee that it will be a full-scale effort.
Those viewing another users stream may sees ads placed between a few posts. Twitter isn't slapping ads right onto a users profile.
We’re experimenting with this feature, as we do with all our ad features, in order to create great experiences for our users, advertisers and partners,
one rep for Twitter told Re/code.
The ads currently only work for users the are logged in.
Shares of Twitter are positive in early trading.
