Twitter (TWTR) Announces 'Summary Cards' for Mobile Ads

Twiiter (NYSE: TWTR) announced that it has updated its Summary Cards for mobile users.
The following was posted to Twitter late Tuesday:
We've updated Summary Cards! iOS & Android users will start seeing more detail about web content in their timelines. pic.twitter.com/gZv2B6vham
— Twitter (@twitter) July 14, 2015The move will replace traditional URL links with the new card format, which is akin to what Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) offers its mobile users.
Not only is the format less complicated for users, but it also allows for Twitter to display bigger, more robust ads.
Shares of Twitter are lower in early trading Wednesday.
