You can watch activations of Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS 8 at Fiksu today. We checked at around 3pm EDT today and found just about 45,000 iOS 8 events being tracked. Data is sparse overall right now, but it will be interesting to see whether adoption can outpace that of previous operating system upgrades.
Shares of Apple are up 0.6 percent Wednesday.
