Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: EA) Titanfall topped gaming sales lists in the U.K. the first week following its release.
One of the most-anticipated games this year, Titanfall also help to boost sales of Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Xbox Consoles by 96 percent with 70 percent of those sales packaged with Titanfall, according to data from GfK Chart-Track.
While specific numbers weren't offered, the news is good for Microsoft investors as more Xbox One sales will lead to sales in other segments (music, media, more games, etc.).
Shares of Microsoft are up 1.3 percent Monday.
