The Apple (AAPL) Excitement Awaits

So I decided to peruse Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) website to see if I could find any news ahead of the conference. So far on the site, Apple has a splash page that says, "There's something in the air."

Also, the Apple store says, "We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly."

TheStreet.com reported that Apple's stock moved up 12%, three days after the conference last year.

Lastly, on another note, people are speculating that Apple may release a dvd rental business which could hurt Netflix's (Nasdaq: NFLX) business. Some investors are going long Apple and shorting Netflix.
