Tesla (TSLA) to Open Third Alabama Supercharger This Week

Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) is said to be opening up it's Mobile, Alabama, Supercharger this week.

According to the Supercharger website, that would put Tesla at 420 Superchargers in the U.S. News comes as Monday will be April 20th...4/20.

Humorously, we'd like to say that at this pace Tesla will be at 1,231 Superchargers by the end of 2015, but that is an unlikely possibility. Getting to the current Supercharger count has taken well over a year.

This will be the third Supercharger in Alabama following locations in Greenville and Auburn, which are already up and running.

Shares of Tesla are down 1 percent.
