Tesla (TSLA) on Watch Amid Apple (AAPL) Rumors

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) ticked lower pre-market Tuesday on reports Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is working on a new vehicle-related project, which has employees at Tesla "jumping ship," according to BusinessInsider sources.

The source said Apple will "give Tesla a run for its money," but did not give further details about how Apple would compete with Tesla.

About 50 current Apple employees were formerly at Tesla, BusinessInsider reported citing LinkedIn data.
