Tesla (TSLA) Sends Out Invitations to 'Make or Break' Event

Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) has begun sending out invitations for what is going to be arguably the company's biggest event over the next year or two: the Model 3 unveiling.

Below is a copy of an invitation send out to winners of the Model S referral program. While there's no location specified in the invitation, it does say that the closest airport to the event will be Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It wasn't made clear how many invitees will attend the event.

Given that the design and features of Tesla's next vehicle could make or break the automaker, investors and consumers alike will be hotly anticipating the unveiling.

Shares of Tesla are indicated for a higher open.
