Tesla (TSLA) Model X Reservation Holders Allow to Begin Configurations

While many were waiting for Tesla Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) to launch the Model X Design Studio, the website still hasn't appeared publicly at TeslaMotors.com. However, a forum post out earlier Tuesday does appear to have what appears to be a configuration screen for Model X reservation holders.

The following are some of the features: for the 90 kWh version

• 155 MPH top speed
• 0 - 60 MPH in 3.8 second (or 3.2 with Ludicrous mode)
• 240 mile range
• 259 hp in front motor, 503 hp in rear motor
• Falcon wing doors
• Automatically retracting rear spoiler
• Rear accessory hatch for a bicycle or ski carrier
• Towing capacity of about 5,000 lbs
• Power folding and heated side mirrors

The Model X is speculated to have a base price in the high-$80,000 range, with the Signature model topping out above $140,000. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the Model X would price above the Model S in the single-digit range.

Shares of Tesla are down over 2 percent in early trading Tuesday.
