Tesla (TSLA) Makes 3.0 Battery Upgrade Available to All Roadster Models

Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) said it is making the 3.0 batter upgrade available for all Roadster models, including the Roadster 1.5.

Below is a notification circulating around Tesla forums announcing the upgrade.

Tesla said the upgrade will provide around 40 percent more than the original battery and 35 percent overall increase in range.

Shares of Tesla are up over 2 percent Monday.
