At least one Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) shareholder is looking to take profits while the profits are good.
According to a Form 144 filed with the U.S. SEC on May 31, 2012, shareholder Don Wood filed to sell up to 1,060 shares of Tesla stock. Date of the sale was May 24, 2013, according to the filing.
Given that Tesla shares ranged from $92 to $97.95 on May 24th, total value on the transaction might have been about $100,670 before taxes, commission, etc. It wasn't made clear how many shares Wood held following the sale.
Tesla shares peaked at $114.90 on May 29th and have since slipped about 19.4 percent over the last three sessions.
Ahead of the bell, Tesla is indicated for a higher open.
