Tesla (TSLA) Expected to Detail Roadster Updates This Week

Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) will be in focus over the next several days as Elon Musk & Co. move to make good on a promise issued earlier in 2014.

According to The Verge, citing a post made by Musk on Twitter, Tesla will outline updates to its Roadster before the end of 2014.

Musk noted that "Several crisis issues w higher priority pushed this out longer than expected." Of course, Musk had to deal with launching satellites, unveiling a new supercar, and overseeing a forward-thinking solar company in the meantime.

There's really not too much speculation of what said updates could be. The Roadster, now out of production, was Tesla's first highway-capable vehicle.

Shares of Tesla are indicated higher Tuesday.
