Tesla's (TSLA) China GM Departs Company

As Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) girds to launch its Model S sedan in China, one of is key executives in the market has left the company.
Bloomberg reported over the weekend that Kingston Chang resigned as Tesla's General Manager in China recently. Initial reports were made by Sina.com (Nasdaq: SINA) and said Chang resigned for personal reasons.
Chang joined Tesla from Volkswagen's Bentley in March 2013.
Tesla began taking orders for is Model S last August and opened a store in Beijing shortly thereafter. Pre-order numbers haven't been released by the company yet and a firm date on when sales will begin hasn't been made.
Shares of Tesla are positive early Monday.
