Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) appears to be making strong headway in one key market as it looks to ease electric vehicle charging concerns.
The NY Post said that Tesla is planning to expand its charging station network in Manhattan to 105 by the end of this month. Each station should provide a full charge to a Model S in as little as four hours and many will be free.
By comparison, there are about 40 gas stations in Manhattan and those numbers have been dropping. While drivers have complained about wait lists to fill up with gasoline, Tesla drivers should see little to no wait.
Shares of Tesla are indicated higher Friday morning.
