Shares of Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) moved higher on Monday after CEO Elon Musk made Twitter comments.
From his official account: "Really exciting @TeslaMotors announcement coming on Thursday. Am going to put my money where my mouth is in v major way."
UPDATE - Musk said there is a change of plans and that the announcement will happen next Tuesday instead. He posted the following message on Twitter: "Slight change of date to ensure no end of quarter distractions -- will be Tues next week."
Shares of Tesla are up 4.9 percent on the session Monday.
