Take A Closer Look At Smith and Wesson (SWHC)
Kristin Bentz, aka The Talented Blonde, had a chance to interview Smith & Wesson's (Nasdaq: SWHC) CEO Michael Golden at The Shot Show in Vegas. The Talented Blonde conducted a great interview with him, and I think it is a must-see if you currently own or are considering an investment in Smith & Wesson.
Below are a couple of the comments I found interesting.
Smith & Wesson's Golden said this regarding his business, "When the economy is real good, it doesn't get a lot better and when the economy is real bad, it doesn't get a lot worse."
Lastly, when law enforcement has to make a decision to purchase new product, Golden said his Smith & Wesson's M & P pistols series is winning over 80% of the business. This Smith & Wesson product is also designed to sell to the U.S. military business. Smith & Wesson is an American company and Golden says the U.S. military should consider buying American made handguns.
