In a press release today, Taco Bell, owned by Yum! Brands (NYSE: Yum), said "breakfast will never be the same." Considering their latest concoction, dubbed Mttn Dew A.M, a combination of Mountain Dew soda and Tropicana Orange Juice, they are probably right. The bizarre new drink is part of "FirstMeal", Taco Bell's latest breakfast menu. The menu will now consist of the A.M. Crunchwrap, Cinnabon Delights, and of course the Mttn Dew A.M.
"Americans have lulled themselves into a breakfast routine," said Brian Niccol, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Taco Bell Corp, and that's something Taco Bell plans to change.
So, if you haven't done so already, get ready to throw away that coffee cup and get ready to sip on America's latest and greatest fast food craze. Just make sure to bring your antacids.
