Susser (SUSS) Slumps, Sees Sequential Same-Store Sales Slowdown in Q3

Susser (Nasdaq: SUSS) shares are indicated lower Thursday morning following an update from the company issued earlier.
Susser said it sees third-quarter 2012 merchandise comps up 5.8 percent, down 1.6 points from the prior year. Retail average per-store fuel volume growth is expected at 6.6 percent, up 1 point from last year.
However, both metrics are a slowdown from 8 percent of merchandise comps and average per-store fuel volume growth reported in the last quarter. For more from the prior quarter, click here.
Shares are down about 4 percent in early trading.
