Stocks traders are talking about the 30-year Treasury auction, which is never a good sign. The auction results are being blamed for the extended weakness in the market.
While demand for the auction was there, at 2.14 bid-to-cover, the yield was pushed to 4.288% versus an expected 4.19%.
