Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ: SBUX) CEO Howard Schultz was compensated $28,909,773 in FY12, versus $16,079,480 the prior year.
Compensation included a $1.483 million base salary, $18 million in stock awards, $6.9 million in stock awards, $2.31 million in non-equity compensation, and $220,733 in Other compensation.
The 79 percent increased compares with an 18.3 percent gain in Starbucks share price to $53.63 at the end of December 2012.
