Sprint (S) Offering $100 Gift Card With Online iPhone Purchases

Sprint (NYSE: S) is going all-in on efforts to attract iPhone lovers. After slashing prices by $50 last week, the company is now offering a $100 American Express gift cards to customers who buy an iPhone with a new service plan. The promotion runs through August 26th. Apple Stores are matching the discount with a $100 in-store credit to new Sprint customers who purchase an iPhone 4S. The deep discounts come ahead of the release of the iPhone 5 this fall.
