Spotify Hits 40M MAUs, 10M Paid Subs (P)

Pandora (NYSE: P) is lower Wednesday amid an update from Spotify in its user metrics.

Spotify's Candice Katz said that the music platform has 40 million monthly active users (MAUs) and 10 million paying subscribers.

Pandora last reported having 76 million active users through the end of April. Subscription and other revenue in Q1 accounted for 28 percent of the company's total revenue ($194.3 million), or about $54.4 million.
