Sony (SNE), Microsoft (MSFT) Gaming Platforms Hit by Hackers

Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Xbox Live and Sony's (NYSE: SNE) Playstation Network were hacked on Christmas.

Bloomberg noted that the hacking crew Lizard Squad claimed responsibility for the hacks, according to its Twitter page. The incident caused connectivity issues for users of both platforms.

Lizard Squad claimed hacking Sony earlier this year, as well.
