Some Looking at PCTY as an M&A Play After Recent Pullback

INSIDERS' BLOG: Shares of Party City (Nasdaq: PCTY) continue to drift lower, while some see the stock as an M&A opportunity. After the close on 03/30 the company said it hired Credit Suisse as its financial advisor after it received inquiries from more than one entity interested in engaging in a strategic combination with Party City. The stock closed at $14.64 the following day, but has been going lower ever since - currently at $12.45.

A recent Q3 earnings miss didn't help sooth fears that the offers will come in low. The street is expecting the company to be sold between $225-$260 million.
