Solarfun Power (SOLF) Surges To New Highs

Shares of Solarfun Power Holdings (Nasdaq: SOLF) are surging to new highs today. The stock is up 17% today and has surged 64% (from $11.61) since reporting strong results last Thursday.

Solarfun reported Q3 revenues of $100.3 million, up 312% from the comparable quarter in 2006, and 63% higher than 2Q 2007. Solarfun reported EPS of $0.17, up 22% from the same quarter a year ago and 90% above 2Q 2007.

There is little Wall Street coverage on Solarfun. Of the four firms that cover the stock, all four have Hold ratings. It seems they all missed the boat on this one.

Solarfun Power Holdings Co, Ltd. manufactures both PV cells and PV modules, provides PV cell processing services to convert silicon wafers into PV cells, and supplies solar system integration services in China.
