Solar Stocks Get Relief Rally (TAN, KWT, YGE, TSL, STP, FSLR)

A number of solar names are seeing interest today after weeks of selling pressure. The common reason to explain a move higher in the group - higher oil prices - is not a factor today, so other events are likely involved. Some simply view today's move as a relief rally. The sector is down 19% over the last month.

The broad sector is up 3% currently, as represented by the ETF Claymore/MAC Global Solar Energy (NYSE: TAN). The other sector ETF Market Vectors Solar Energy ETF (NYSE: KWT) is up 3.8%.
