SodaStream (Nasdaq: SODA) is seeing some action Monday with early selling causing shares to break through the $40 support level.
Not much is out Monday from the company, just a release introducing new flavors sweetened with Stevia.
Last Tuesday, SodaStream stock dropped amid a fourth-quarter earnings beat, as unit sales began to slow heightening investor concerns.
Additionally, an article late Friday from one financial blogger highlighted how SodaStream has little in the way of patents protecting it from an admittedly low-barrier-to-entry market, unlike peer Green Mountain (Nasdaq: GMCR).
SodaStream has bounced off of the $37.50 level and appears to be flattening out on the session following the morning drop.
