Smith & Wesson (SWHC) Soars After Reporting Strong Earnings
After the close today, Smith & Wesson (Nasdaq: SWHC) reported earnings that were stronger than the Street expected and it also guided Q2 revenue higher.
Smith & Wesson reported Q1 EPS of $0.16, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $102.2 million, versus the consensus of $94.07 million. SWHC said sales for Q2 will be between $103 million and $105 million versus consensus of $99.76 million.
Smith & Wesson is currently trading up 12% to $6.29 in the after-hours.
