Shares of Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) have continued trending higher all day and have now jumped over the $390 level. The stock most recently traded at $392.09, up more than 3.3% from yesterday's closing price.

Traders are buying the stock ahead of the Q1 earnings, which will be out just after the market closes today. The Street is currently expecting Q1 EPS of $4.93 on sales of $4.08 billion.

Bulls and bears have been especially contentious in their sentiment towards this quarterly report as shares of Google have rallied more than 30% since March 9 when the stock hit a near-term low around $289. Bulls argue that upside momentum is begin to return to this once unstoppable stock, while bears argue that so much upside during the last month has created a heady situation.
