Shares of Amazon (AMZN) Surging In After-Hours on Q4 Beat

Shares of Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) are trading about 13% higher in today's after-hours session following a very solid Q4 earnings beat.

Amazon reported Q4 EPS of $0.52, topping the Street's estimates of $0.39 by 13 cents. Revenues for the quarter came to $6.7 billion, which compared to the analyst estimate of $6.44 billion.

The online retailer also offered guidance for its Q1 sales: $4.525-$4.925 billion, versus the consensus of $4.57 billion.
