Senator Peter Schiff?
On Jon Stewart's Daily Show last night Peter Schiff, who correctly predicted the crash in real estate and other assets, suggested that he may run for the Senate in his home state of Connecticut. If he was to run, Schiff would take on incumbent Chris Dodd. Schiff joked that taking on Dodd would be the easiest part, saying Dodd has spent his lifetime in the Senate and thinks he's in the House of Lords.
Schiff also discussed on the show that the Obama administraion is on the wrong path, accelerate the country's "plunge off a cliff." Schiff warns that the currency is the next asset that will lose its value.
It looks like Schiff has already received some support for his potential Senate run. Today, the National Inflation Association said, "it is our belief that we must support Peter Schiff and encourage him to run for Senate in the State of Connecticut." NOT BAD.
