Select Comfort Corporation (SCSS) are lower again today though exhibiting somewhat of similar move seen during Monday's session, that of "dip-and-recover." Monday, Select Comfort was reacting to news for peer Tempur-Pedic (NYSE: TPX), which was hit as a Raymond James analyst questioned the need for Tempur-Pedic to offer a discount on its hottest-selling mattress.
Implied volatility for Select Comfort is 24 percent better from Monday's close and up 122 percent over its trailing historical average.
Shares are down 6.5 percent, though it was 14 percent lower at one point. Select Comfort ended Monday's session 4 percent lower and is setting-up for a four-session losing streak.
