Second Complaint by Samsung Against Apple (AAPL) Dismissed in Germany

Love for Samsung in German courts is waning, according to results of a recent court ruling.

Reports Friday indicate a Mannheim, Germany judge dismissed further complaints by Samsung against rival Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) related to the 3G/UMTS wireless telecommunications standard.

No specific reason was given, according to litigation-tracking website Foss Patents. The call comes just one week following a different patent rejection in Germany.

Whether Samsung will appeal any of the rulings to the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court is yet to be seen. Further reasoning by Samsung behind the judge's decision will need to be evaluated before any further action is taken.

Apple shares are indicated for a higher open Friday.
