Rogers (RCI) Plans Update to BlackBerry (BBRY) BB10 in Late October

According to a recent update of Rogers' community forums, the update for BlackBerry's BB10.2 operating system will happen later in October. The updates will be fore BlackBerry's Z10, Q10, and Q5 handsets.
The carrier noted that it was a tentative date subject to change.
Changes were first noted by BlackBerryEmpire.
Shares of BlackBerry are up 0.8 percent amid feather-light chatter that private equity firm Cerberus might be willing to make a bid for the company.
