Research In Motion (RIMM) Sinking on Storm OS Concerns

November 28, 2008 11:10 AM EST
Traders are selling shares of Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) during today's shortened session as reviews of its just-released BlackBerry Storm have been mixed, to say the least. Additionally, according to Boy Genius Report, BlackBerry fans who purchased the Storm just days after its launch are already reporting problems with the device's operating system.

Shares of Research In Motion are currently down 5% to $42.50. The stock is now just slightly higher than its price level at the start of trading on November 21, when RIMM's Storm first hit stores. On that day, shares of Research In Motion rallied nearly 8%, but have since given up the majority of those gains.

Research In Motion Limited engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of wireless solutions for the mobile communications market worldwide.
