According to reports from the New York Times, Lululemon's (Nasdaq: LULU) claim of clothes made with seaweed may not be true.
A New York Times commissioned lab test showed no evidence of seaweed in Lululemon clothing.
Lululemon founder, Dennis Wilson, did not dispute the findings. Wilson told the New York Times, "If you actually put it on and wear it, it is different from cotton ... That's my only test of it."
Lululemon has been a on a tear since coming public in July at $18 per share. The stock hit a high of $60.70, and since that time has settled back down to $43.50.
This morning at RealMoney.com, Jim Cramer said, "this could cause questions about the cult of LULU and its natural nature."
