The blackhole, also known as AIG (NYSE: AIG), is trying to sell its corporate headquarters, according to reports from the New York Post.
The Post said bonus-bloated AIG could scrape up another $100 million or so bucks by selling its 66-story Art Deco headquarters in downtown Manhattan.
One of the potential buyers is the union that represents doormen and porters at office and apartment buildings. AIG hired Cushman & Wakefield to sell the building.
AIG could have potentially got $320 million for the building when the real-estate market was booming, but will be lucky to get $100 million now.
