Potential Bounce Candidates: Theses stocks were sold off aggressively yesterday and traders will look for possible bounces in the stocks in the days ahead. Of course, they can continue lower.
NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) sank 16% yesterday after reporting Q4 results. In addition, Morgan Stanley cuts EPS estimates on the company, citing market share losses. Today the stock is down another 1.7%.
Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) fell 3.5% yesterday after Goldman Sachs removed the chip-giant from its Conviction Buy List. Today the stock is down another 1%
Genzyme (Nasdaq: GENZ) fell 3.5% after activist investor Carl Icahn showed he no longer holds a stake in the biotech company. Some investors had hoped Icahn's involvement could force the company to be acquired. Today the stock is flat.
UBS (NYSE: UBS) dropped 8% yesterday after the European investment giant said subprime losses led to a record loss. Today the stock is down another 2.7%.
Liz Claiborne (NYSE: LIZ) sank 18% yesterday after lowering Q4 and 2007 guidance. Today the stock is down another 2.6%
