Potential Bounce Candidates: NILE, TRX, UNH, ATAC, DF

Potential Bounce Candidates: Theses stocks were sold off aggressively yesterday and traders will look for possible bounces in the stocks in the days ahead. Of course, they can continue lower.

Blue Nile Inc. (Nasdaq: NILE) fell 17% yesterday after reporting so-so Q4 results, but providing an awful Q1 outlook. Blue Nile sells jewelry online. Today the stock is up 1%.

Tronox Incorporated (NYSE: TRX) sunk 21% yesterday after reporting a Q4 loss on slower demand and higher costs. Tronox is the world's third-largest producer and marketer of titanium dioxide pigment, which is used in paint, coatings, plastics, paper and many other everyday products. Today the stock is down another 2%.

UnitedHealth Group's (NYSE: UNH) fell nearly 3% yesterday as the company's Ingenix unit is at the center of a probe by New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo into the manipulation of reimbursement rates by insurance companies. UnitedHealth provides a range of healthcare services. Today the stock is flat.

Aftermarket Technology (Nasdaq: ATAC) sunk 14% yesterday after reporting in-line Q4 results, but giving FY08 EPS guidance that was cautious compared to the Wall Street views. Aftermarket provides outsourced engineered solutions and supply chain logistics services to the light and medium/heavy-duty vehicle. Today the stock is down another 5%.

Dean Foods Co. (NYSE: DF) fell 6% yesterday after reporting disappointing Q4 results and giving a weak outlook, citing higher costs. Dean Foods is the largest US dairy producer. Today the stock is flat.
