Poniard Pharma (PARD) Rips on FAK Licensing Deal Announcement
Making the most impressive move on the day is Poniard Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: PARD).
Earlier in the session, Poniard announced it entered into a licensing agreement with an undisclosed party for rights to Poniard's focal adhesion kinase (FAK) technology, including a preclinical candidate that is a selective small molecule inhibitor of FAK.
Poniard will get $250,000 upfront, plus milestone payments and other considerations.
On the report, Poniard moved as much as 200 percent higher on the session, and is up 120 percent into the close.
