Shares of Palm (Nasdaq: PALM) were hit in the final hour of trading on reports from theStreet.com that the Palm Pre isn't making the cut at Verizon (NYSE: VZ).
The report suggests the plan to bring Pre to Verizon in January has been scrapped as Verizon has decided not to support the Pre. theStreet.com cited people close to the discussions.
