Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE: OWW) shares are making a late-day surge into the close, as CNBC mentioned their new partnership with Virgin Australia to power standalone hotel bookings on its Australian websites.
After trading higher all day, Orbitz powered another 16 percent to $3.25, before giving back a little. Volume on the move spiked as well.
