Novatel Wireless Inc. (NASDAQ: NVTL) shares are surging up more than 8 percent following reports that Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) will begin selling the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPad on October 28 bundled with the wireless provider's MiFi mobile hotspot.
Novatel is the maker of the MiFi device that allows for 3G Internet service on the go from Verizon.
